I remember reading somewhere on this forum that there is a rebooting method that consists of something like Shift + Alt + Del. Can anyone please tell me the exact combination, as I can't find the posting again? Thanks for help in advance!

It is Shift-Alt-Delete (pressed together), at least on the physical keyboard (works on my D2G, don't know about the D2).
It works on the D2 also.
theres also a hard reset button, mostly used if you ever crash your phone.....hold the power button and x til the phone turn on, then you can take your finger off the power button, but continue holding down the x button and a ! point will come up with a green droid cartoon
