Receiving The Same MMS Multiple Times

Has anyone else that has the Incredible been getting the same MMS multiple times on various occasions?  For me, its appears to be random...although, now that I think about it, the two numbers that I notice it from I think are both AT&T...at least one of them is.  Does anyone have any input on this?

Hi.  I understand that you are getting the same MMS message repeatedly on different occasions.  I will be happy to look into this a little deeper for you.   I have several questions so I can better understand what is going on.

 

 Is this multimedia message from only two people?  

Does it happen when you receive a multimedia message from anyone else besides those two people?  
How long has this been happening?  

Are you using a messaging application from the Android market?

Well, I had spoke with a tech support rep and he said it was possible that the MMS Interchange company might have a glitch so he opened up a ticket with them to see.  I'm waiting to here back.  It was also suggested that it could be tied to the problem of me getting the "unknown error" or "generic network failure" messages when receiving MMS.  Those errors don't always show up but, it's possible there is a link.  So, I will wait until I hear back.

 

To answer your questions though.  I'm using the stock messaging app but it also did happen with other messaging apps such as Handcent.  It's been happening since I signed up.

This is apparently a known issue with the droid based on Google.  I briefly had the issue for about a week and would receive the same text 2 or 3 times. Seemed to occur more often with people who had other droids.

I've been receiving multiple SMS messages every now and again, up to 7 of the same message. Yes, it's obnoxious, I can deal with that, but I can't with the fact that when it happens when I receive in international text that I get charged SEVEN TIMES! I've spoken with Tech Support before and they said they've never heard of the problem before, but from the forums I've read, it's an ongoing problem. Is there any way, if it can't be fixed internally, that these charges can be taken off my account?
