Ever sice the latest update I've been receiving at least 3 duplicates of every text that gets sent to me. Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas on how to make it stop?

I use Handcent SMS for texting. I cleared the cache (and data?) for both the Handcent app and the standard Text Messaging app and I have not had the problem since.
Go to Manage Apps->All Apps->Handcent and Manage Apps->All Apps->Text Messaging to clear the individual app caches. I would first try clearing the cache only for both apps and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, clear the caches a second time and also clear the data for both apps.

It's actually been going on since well before the update. I have friends with other phones who have the same thing happen to them. One actually has a 'pre-smartphone' phone and they get multiples all the time. The problem is with some setting within Verizons network, which apparently they don't feel is that big of a deal. Only thing I've heard is to contact Verizon and tell them and they supposedly do someting to correct it for that user, but that's about it
