Recognition Issues With Inc and GM Car Bluetooth

Maybe someone has had this same issue. I am able to pair my new Incredible with the on board Bluetooth on my Saturn Aura. It pairs fine and I can actually receive and respond to calls. All is fine until I turn the car off and try to use the Bluetooth again. The phone finds the car then disconnects. I have to completely remove the car from the phones system and pair once again. Is there something I am missing or do I have a defective phone. Worked fine with my Blackberry Storm.

I can't help without knowing the car system. Sorry. Sounds like the problem is with the phone, and not the car.

Seems like everything else is pairing properly and reconnecting but for the car and phone. The car is a 2009 and my manual does not state what version of Bluetooth. Everything else that worked with my BB is now working with the Incredible except the car. Yikes now to figure out which one is not working properly.

Not sure if you tried these yet:

1. GM should have a discoverable mode. Does the phone detect it?

2. Vice versa?

3. Have you reached the max number of available connection pairings for the car? I think GM's only allows for like 3 or 4.
