Red Tag X's

Has anyone encountered problems with a Droid X that has a red battery pull tag. The reason why I bring up the tag is because there are noticibly new batch of phones. Also I just bought an extended battery today and noticed the stock battery cover does not fit, but from what I've read it fit on the yellow tag phones. Reason I bring this up is that only real problem with the Droid X were some glitches when the phones were being assembled, right now it seems like the new batch of phones (ones with the red pull tag) have a lower percentage of defective devices, just my theory.

switched to the red pull because some owners removed the battery tab.

Galaxie is right. The only reason they switched the tags is people were pulling off the yellow tags, not realizing its purpose was to easily pull battery. People were confused and thought it was for shipping purposes and was meant to be pulled off the phone before use.

As far as the original cover fitting over the extended battery, it does. But, it is putting pressure on the front screen when you use it instead of the extended cover. So even if it fits it is highly recommended that you don't use it.
