I recently received my son's HTC Incredible 2 cell phone for my use. I restored all settings to factory default and updated as appropriate. All of his apps and data were correctly removed except his photos. How can these be globally deleted other than one by one?

That's a great device, nsa! You'll enjoy the Incredible 2! The best way to remove your son's pictures from the phone is to "format" of your SD card. Here are the instructions below...http://tinyurl.com/baemxg2 Have a great day!

Can I assume that everything can be removed from my son's SD card without adversely effecting what I have recently done for my setup after receiving the phone, , i.e. my apps, my configuration, my contacts, etc., or are these now stored on the SD card?
