Id like to perform a hard reset on my droid x because i just deleted my advanced task killer app and after hearing some of the horror that these apps can cause id like to start over again. How does one go about doing this and how do i backup important things like pictures and contacts and such prior to wiping the slate clean? Thanks very much.
First thing, Task Killer do not cause any issues, usually most issues with using them comes from misconfiguration but everyone is intitaled to there opinion... Hear is the process to hard reset your device:
Your photos and contacts should be on your SD card. If not, move them to your SD card. Remove the SD card and do the factory reset. However, check that no apps are also on the card. If so, delete them before removing the card.
