Several ways -- you can use something like a File Explorer to "find" the Ringtone .. In your APP drawer is an app called "FILES" .. you can launch that and then drill down into a directory on your SD card: MEDIA \ AUDIO \ RINGTONES .. see if it's there. If it IS, then long-press it and an option should come up to use it as a RING TONE.
Another (easier?) possibility is just launch your Music APP - click on the SONGS tab at the top and see if the ringtone shows up. If it DOES, just long-press it and an option will come up to "USE AS RINGTONE" ..
let us know.

OK!!!
" In your APP drawer is an app called "FILES" .. you can launch that and then drill down into a directory on your SD card: MEDIA \ AUDIO \ RINGTONES .. see if it's there. If it IS, then long-press it and an option should come up to use it as a RING TONE"
I finally found this (see above) my options are: open, share, delete, rename, copy, move, info.
Any idea what to do next?? I really appreciate the help!! amy

If you're finding it in the RINGTONE folder, then it's already a ringtone ... Have you tried assigning the ringtone to whatever you want it to?? or what's the problem doing THAT? I honestly am not seeing the problem yet.

Hi, I am looking in my FILE APP. I do not have a folder named Ringtones. It appears to be in the list below all the folders. I tried to move it to my MUSIC folder and it will not open. It looks like a piece of paper and not a recording. I can only assume it was a bad download and I wasted $2.99. Thanks for the help anyway...amy

very strange .. it almost sounds like it didn't get "unzipped" properly or something ... but $2.99 for a RINGTONE? wow ... what a rip off ... There are a zillion FREE ringtones ...
here's a free APP that I use for ringtones, and there are many others. With this, you can also take an MP3 song of your choice and create a small ringtone from any part of it..

Hi Amy welcome to the Forum try looking in the were your music is go to were your main apps are Tap music then loop up at the top were your selections are tap song an scroll thru there an see if it's hiding in there.
Another place to look is Files tap on it Then tap on Sd card scroll down thru there look at the dates an if remembered
when done the download it should be there if you find it tap on it a see if plays if not it may be were it won't play it.
An you can try this app an i use it all the Time it's called ZEDGE they got good ringtones an Wallpapers an if you was to delete Zedge it will save your old Ringtones.
But give those suggestion a try an keep trying you'll get it. B33

Wildman once posted a terrific message about saving a downloaded ringtone. Go to the search box and type in "ringtone". and search for it. You may have to do some searching because there are several threads pertaining to ringtones. However, this message is well worth searching for.
