Ringtone not sounding

I have the ringer volume up and set a ringtone. However now incoming calls only vibrate and flash the blue LED. The ringtone used to work but will not anymore. What's up?

Did you by any chance check mark the smart profile in sounds & display settings if so that could be the problem I've read there is a problem with it and my daughter checked it and it did the same thing.

Had to uncheck and to be safe did a battery pull and data wipe which fixed it and told her to keep the finger off it.

Yea read about that too, I really don't wanna wipe it though that's just such a hassle. Motorola said that a fix should allow functionality of the smart profile after a software update to be released. Since there are rumors of Android 2.2 Froyo coming hopefully next week I'd guess they're coming together. Dunno if I'll have to do a factory reset anyway but holding out to see, I can deal with call vibrate only for a bit. If an update doesn't come soon then I'll reset.
