Ringtones reset

Its so weird every few days all my ringtones and notifications are reset. it is so wierd. I am not really too sure what I am doing wrong if anything. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Or what can I do to solve this??

Have you performed a hard reset on your device? This will reset your device to factory settings. Performing a hard reset will remove ALLdata including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.

From the home screen, select the Applications tab(located in the lower-left).
Select Settings.
Select SD & phone storage.
Select Factory data reset.
Select the reset option. (Reset phone-Resets the phone. Reset phone & Internal storage-Resets the phone and the internal storage)
Select Erase Everything

They keep resetting evreytime I turn off my phone. Is there a save feature or something? Im trying to do all I can before I reset the phone.
