Hmm we are all having this problem seems like and Verizon is doing absolutely nothing to help. There are a few threads about this and it does really suck. I would have returned the faulty phone if I had a chance.... :smileysad:

Hwilliams--As a temporary fix, you can probably restart your phone (hold the power button for a couple of seconds and you will have the option to restart or completely power off).  Including myself, I have this issue at least 3 times per day and have to restart my phone.  We are trying to get some answers out of Verizon on why this is occurring.  They are being pretty quiet to this point.

However, I have a friend that works at Verizon and he said that a software update is being developed to stop the data from dropping.

Thank you for your inquiry hwilliams07. Are you still having the same issue? Perhaps as a suggestion, power your device off for a full minute and power it back on to help refresh the connections to the network. If perhaps you were traveling when the error happened, or you might have been in a no coverage area or where there was a temporary service outage perhaps due to weather related problems. I hope that once your able to power cycle the device as suggested it reconnects your service.

Have you tried this?

Loss of internet access

  1. Application “settings”
  2. Wireless & network
  3. Check “Use Pocket Data”
  4. Check “Data Roaming”

Help,  my Samsung 4G LTE Charge only lasts for 1/2 a day at the most.  Any suggestions?  I go to task manager all the time to see what's running and close down anything that is (which is maybe one app) and that doesn't help.  Also Bluetooth in my BMW keeps disconnecting.

TWCharge,

I'm not sure if you have already done so but, try turning off the auto brightness, and putting the screen brightness down to almost nothing, also apps that you don't use much, try to have them push notifications in longer intervals such as every 3 hours or 6 hours. Turn the brightness of your browser down and make sure the power saving mode on the charge is checked. Also, you can set animations to none, which helps with battery life as well as producing less lag. Try setting the screen time out to 30 seconds or 1 minute. Make sure that you do not have Bluetooth on all the time, only when you use it and then shut it off, as well as with Wifi, turn that off too once your done using it. Make sure that the GPS is off as well. Try using backgrounds that are static rather than the dynamic live wallpapers and use wallpapers that have blacks and darker colors in them as well. When charging your battery, wait until the 100% charged icon appears, power off the phone and then plug the phone back in and wait for the battery to say 100% again and keep doing that 2-3 times and then turn the phone back on and let it charge until it says 100%. This has been kinda helpful for my battery I think. Hope some of this helps. Also, the bluetooth issue seems to be a problem that is hopefully going to be fixed in the next software update.

Also, only use the 4g LTE when your in need of it for things such as d/ling movies, songs and streaming. I keep it in 3G most of the time.
