I have called Verizon support 3 times and have gotten 3 different answers. How do i transfer Video`s from my computer to my SD card on my incredible. Do I have to use V CAST Apps? When I just hook up the computer and the phone and try to drop the video into the removable disc it does not recognise the removable disc. This is my first smartphone.

go to settings--->connect to pc--->and make sure the "default connection type" is set to "disk drive." you have to sort of tell the device that it is about to be used as an external disk drive. i believe it just charges if you plug it in and it doesn't realize you'd like to use it as a disk drive. i also think (?) that when you plug it in to the pc, the device will ask you if you want to mount it? (not sure though?)

when you plug the phone into the pc via the usb cord, and unlock the phone screen...what appears on your phone's screen? it should ask you what type of connection you want? ("charge only," "htc sync," "disk drive," "mobile broadband connect") select disk drive. if the phone is not prompting you for this, then something is wrong with your device and you need to tak it in and have varizon try to plug it into a pc at the store.

or, if your pc has an sd card drive, you can just put the micros sd card into the pc and do it that way.
