SD card

When you download apps from the market place does it store them to the SD card? Is there a way to control what is saved to the card?

 

If none of this is possible what is the SD card used for?

The default installation is usually always in the internal memory unless the app has the option to install to SD

The SD Card is normally used to store downloads from web,music, videos and other personal information... Since 2.2 update some apps can be stored to sd card but only if programmer allowed this.
