How do I swtch from SWYPE message entry back to normal keypad entry?

long press inside of a text entry box and you should get an Input Method choice.

awesome!  this was extremely helpfu.  i had some how gotten off of the swype method and changing it within the setting was not helpful.  YOUR SOLUTION WAS HELPFUL!!!   thanks so much.

Also, go to"settings", "languages & keyboards", and "input method". You can choose which keyboard you wish to use there as well. Geri O
