If you gave everyone a million dollars, there would be some who wouldn't be happy and want two million. That's the impression I get from reading some of the topics/posts here. I've always been a person who believes in doing something right the first time around. Some people here have wanted GB for the Charge for quite some time now and they throw a hissy fit because it's not out yet. Should we revisit the few phones that had the upgrade to GB and had issues? Some are upset because they don't think that they're getting ICS on their phones. First, no one really knows. Second, no one really knows if ICS is problematic right now so why would people want it?
I've had the Charge for a little while now and yes I know what's it's limitations are but EVERY SMARTPHONE does, including the iPhones. Most of us here don't NEED a smartphone, we want one. A lot of us go out and by things right when they first come out or without proper research. Yes, do we spend a lot of money on these phones? Yup but on the flip side no one forces us to go out and spends hundreds, no one guarantees us that we will have the most up to date phone OS, etc.
Bottom line is this, every phone has it's advantages and disadvantages regardless of the manufacture. Not one phone will ever be perfect. Misery seeks misery as well, so stop reading these forums and getting frustrated over something you have no control over. If you really want to make a statement, then stop buying smartphones.
Ps: I've had my Charge for awhile and watch what I put on it and I don't have any issues.

Odie21,
Nice post. I'll add this to it.
I have posted many fixes, especially battery tests, and VERY FEW folks have responded back as to whether my suggestion fixed their problem or even helped them. Some post to complain and are never heard from again. Because of this I wonder if venting frustration is their goal as opposed to actually fixing their problem.
It's no "big deal" to me because my Charge has worked perfectly but I just wonder...

Thank you Jerry
On my stock battery, I was getting around 16-20 hours before I needed to charge it. I have an extended battery now (because of 4G in my area) and I get about 2-3 days with it depending on my usage. The two other people that I know personally that have the Charge get around the same battery life, which was weird when I'd read the posts about battery life for this phone. Up to this point, the battery life on this phone far exceedes the battery life on most other 4G phones.

Wow, I'm very impressed with that battery life, and wish I could match it. I left my home on Saturday at 10AM and was out of battery by about 3:30---and I hardly used the phone at all. Jerry, could you post that "bump charge" thing that you've spoken of....I would love to get a fully day's use out of my Charge.

Phillybama1,
It's in this forum. Use the search box and search on the word BUMP. Usually the first item that comes up is my post "Bump Charging your Battery."
I started the following post on 8/26/2011. There is some good info on extended batteries. It's a short thread so read the other comments too; they are good. BTW. it's now 11/7/2011 and my 3500 mAh battery is still working great. I love it!
