Saving attachment or forwarding pic

Anyone know how to save an attachment that was texted? Either that or way to forward the attachment to email.

Received a pic on my phone. Wanted to save it to the gallery, but it's not coming up with that option. Wanted to try forwarding the text/attachment to my email, but it only allows me to reply back to the sender, but I wanted to send it to my email account. The system apparently won't let me add /remove addresses.

Sharing your precious memories is top priority! I couldn't imagine not being able to save or pictures that were sent to me.

When it comes to the original Droid or the Droid 2 the function is the same. You open the message and long press (press & hold) on the picture. This will give you an option to save or share.

If it's not coming up with those options for this specific message, what about other messages? Same results?

Please advise!
