I am able to receive email on my phone through my work MS exchange server, but I can not send. Others using different phones (IPHONE) are able to receive and send. Any suggetions?
My boss uses Verizion and has the same problem. If you refresh several times when you have a good 3G connection does it go through? That has worked for us.
assuming you're using the correct protocols to access, i'd guess you have something wrong in the smtp server address.
mine isn't a microsoft exchange access but a pop3 account with cox & login requires just the login name not @cox......
I would have to agree with bearone21, double check your server settings with your IT department. More importantly, check the outgoing settings. Confirm the settings are correct in the phone.

Is there anyone else at your place of business that has a Droid? Are they having the same problem sending email?
If you need to, you can remove the email address from the Droid X and set it up again.
