Sending texts

I have had my Droid Charge for about 6 months.  All of my outgoing texts are pending.  I have already tried taking the battery and Sim card out for 30 seconds and it did not help.

it's gotta be a full 10 minutes....

but, are these just plain texts, or ar these also pics?  if pics, make sure that mobile data is on.

are you able to make/receive phone calls?  are you able to receive texts?
