Setting contact ringtones

Is there a way to set specific ringtones for specific contacts?

Yes. In my opinion the easiest way to do this is to use ringdroid from the market.
The other way to do it is to edit the contact, expand the "additional info" part and scroll all the way to the bottom where you can specify the ringtone.

I scroll to the bottom and the Ringtone option is greyed out and not available to change
