I have a reconditioned replacement phone and I am getting "severe weather alerts" with the annoying noise from T.V. alerts. I can't find a way to turn these off?! Any suggestions?
Check the text message application settings.

Good morning! I'm sorry these alerts have been annoying you. The Wireless Emergency Alerts are part of a new program provided by a partnership of the FCC and FEMA to alert people in a designated area of AMBER alerts, Presidental alerts, and severe weather alerts.
