Ordered online last night. Chat window person said to go ahead and click free second day shipping, they automatically change to free overnight.
Got my email this morning from Verizon, your order has shipped..I was like, wow, cool...then hit the tracking link, SECOND DAY, delivered on the 19th..!!!!
I've called Verizon a bunch of times, talked to supervisors, etc. NOTHING can be done, once its been processed and shipped.
The real bad thing is its shipping from West Chester PA, about 2 hours from me, and I can't get it. Vzw does not allow pickups at FedEx until its been attempted to deliver once already.
So that is just great, I have to wait until monday now...arghhh.

I know. I think I'm in the same boat. Now I will have to wait to monday to get it. On top of that no one will be home when it does get there. so it probably wont be until tuesday, then i have to do a serial swap since I ordered it on my husbands number because he had the $100 dollar discount. so I am looking at next Thursday before I will be able to use it.

Sorry to hear that, sounds like you got a less than knowledgeable person on the other end. When looking for the "Free overnight" option, you have to enter promotion code: FREEOVERNT into the promotion code section. And it is true, once an order has been shipped the sender has to wait until it has been delivered, can't change it unfortunately.

Thanks crb....they may want to look at their website because when you have a rep saying auto upgrade AND on the very front page of the website its says 'free overnight shipping on internet orders'...it doens't state about seeing details or to do this or that. It just states free overnight shipping.

I understand, if you click on the "Free overnight" advertisement it tells you how to obtain it. You do have to click on the "Learn More" button then it tells you to enter the code: FREEOVERNT
I agree it can be misleading, but it's just like having to ask for ketchup at Mc Donalds.

I am going through the same thing, except I am going on vacation on Monday morning. This is freakin ridiculous that they can't change the order to overnight shipping. The CSR said she is going to check to see if she can change the shipping address to where I am going to once it processes. I currently have a Glyde that reaaaalllly sucks. It is hardly usable anymore. I want to smash it to smithereens. I am so frustrated that they didn't have better directions on how to do the overnight shipping.

I'm about an hour from West Chester (where mine shipped from) and even though I am on 2 day I will get it next day. You may still get it tomorrow.

I've had a similar issue. I ordered last night about 12:10am CST. I know that it said Overnight Delivery. When I called *611 this morning to verify my order the lady said I selected 2-day shipping. I said can I change that to Overnight and she said she couldn't do anything but if I called the internet people they may be able to help. I called them and they said it was Overnight delivery and that I'd receive my phone tomorrow. So I don't know who to believe! I just hope it arrives tomorrow!

I'm getting the same exact info as you. I know for sure it saide overnight when I ordered.

Update, I called an 866 number and talked to someone with intelligence, who had some stroke.....long story short, she canxed the previous order and its on its way, overnight, to my house tomorrow.
This rep totally rocked. Chumley, did you get yours straightened. I too had the 20% off corporate discount and that caused the problem with shipping, but this rep was the first to explain this out of 7 previous ones I talked to today

I ordered at about 1:30AM PDT last night ... of course, I started trying at 12:30 but the site was horribly slow. I hate to resort to (bleh) IE ... I was trying Chrome, Firefox and IE in parallel

It took me nearly 12 hours to get shipment notification, by the time I checked fedex's site it was already on the way to the FedEx hub in MEM.

I originally ordered last night at 1230 am...original shipping confrimation when I woke up...I finally got that great rep about 1230 pm and she canxed original order and placed new one right then....by the time I got to worked and cked my email, at 230pm I got the overnight shipping confirmation.
Jamie, you rock. I sent her supervisor an email on how helpful she was. She sent out lettters on how the other reps did not know their jobs, basically, including a supervisor. How can 7 reps say you can't canx an order once placed and put in motion and one says you can, and is able to do it.

They're telling me there might be a delay because I am porting numbers from AT&T. If I'd known that I would have lined up this morning ....

Use the *611 from your verizon wireless phone or (800) 256-4646. They can only process these online discounts if you had issues with processing it only though. As for your Corp Discounts, they should be coded to your account.
I've heard that some stores were indeed offering an "unofficial" pre-order.
Edit: Just FYI: Anyone who is still waiting on your shipping info, it wouldn't hurt to call and checkup on it. I just got a call from a woman named Crystal at VZW who let me know my payment info was entered incorrectly or did not go through somehow. She was able to get it straightened out and reprocessed so that I will indeed get my order delivered in the morning tomorrow.

I was referring to jet-doc comment about the shipping issue. I am having trouble right now because I thought it was being sent overnight and on the confirmation it says 2 day. I won't be here on Monday because I am going on vacation. I want to know the number they called to get that fixed. I need my phone tomorrow. I talked to another CSR and they told me that they are out of Droid X's and mine won't ship out until July 21, which I still won't be here for. I am so frustrated right now.
