Signing into Market trouble

Hi.  I am trying to get into Market on my phone.  I have always been able to do so but recently it is asking me for a google sign-in.  I type in the characters and it brings me to a username.  It is a youtube address and I don't know the password.  I log into youtube and the username isn't even on my profile.  I can't get into it at all on my phone.  How do I change my username to log into Market?  Is it even possible?

Please help?!?!?!

If you go to Google page and the area where you log in you have a can't log in option that allows you to answer some questions you set up on account and change it or have it sent to another email account that you should have set up...

I tried this and it is still doing the same thing. It is asking for my youtube.com password and don't have a clue what to do

I called Verizon and they walked me threw it. go to ur home screen in settings go to accounts & sync there you will see the youtube.com address for google. click on it and it will have a remove account button. press it and you will be fixed

Thank you soooo much!  That worked!  I was worried that I would have to reset my phone and lose all of my apps.  Once again, thank you very much!

I've had the same issue.  On my Incredible when on the Market. say like looking at the paid apps you can schroll down so far then it stops with the sighn in Caution.

When i looked in on accounts-sync it shows:

• Backup Assistant
  
• Google
  
• News
  
• Stocks
  
• then the Weather
  

Thats all that shows up on my incredible so do you then remove the google account then reinstall it.  or will this work in my situation. B33
