Since Gingerbread upgrade, I am not getting email notifications

I just upgraded last week and am no longer getting email notifications for yahoo or att email addresses. I am getting gmail notifications. I've checked passwords and everything else I can think of (yes, notifications are on), but still no notifications. Any ideas?

The BEST thing would be to do a search on this forum, because there were many posts about this when GB first came out back in June.

But the solution was to go to Settings - Applications - Manage Apps - Select your email app(s) and select clear cache.

If that doesn't work, delete and re-install the apps.

Both methods have worked.

Thanks, and guess what? I started by searching the forum, but found nothing. And knew I'd get scolded at least once by someone who has previous knowledge of this issue being addressed on the forum.

Thanks for at least giving me a helpful response (although I don't use apps for yahoo and att email).

How do you use email if you don't use an app? Even the stock email that comes on the phone is an app...

Did the clearing cache work?
