Slow response - Missing Calls

Lately my Droid X2 is occurring slow response time as I dial a number. Also I have had this phone since 4/11 and now at times calls will go directly to voice mail while the phone sits on the table at home or work right next to me. No new businesses in the area. In the same office I have been in for 8 years suddenly I can't get good reception. It makes me want to throw it through the wall.

Hi reno4ski,

Let's get to the bottom of this! When did the problem begin? Have you recently downloaded any new applications? For the missed call issue, try dialing *228, send listen and select option 2. For the dial pad concern, try this:Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Phone>Clear Data/Cache. I hope this information is helpful. I did the *228..no help. Coworkers have Verizon phones with no problems.Dead zone like never before.The slow response continues at random times. Phone reset now occurring once a day. So pissed the phone didn't reach my contract renew time.

I must suffer to wait to get the Samsung 3

Pull the Battery While the phone is on and then Hold the Power Button for 20 to 30 Sec = Soft Reset if that Doesn't Work you might want to do a Factory Reset.. b33

I had very similar problems with me X, but I upgraded & I havr given my X to a friend who recently broke hers & she has been using it with no issued!

I removed some apps that were installed 30 days ago. No change. Just today - phone on table next to me..it beeps - nope not text message - but a voice mail, and the phone never rang.

I am so frustrated with this phone lately.

Bad reception in areas and still slow response at times.

You should send a follow request under the reps individual name AdamE_VZW.  Once he accepts your follow request and sends one back to you, you would accept his follow request.  Then after your are both following each other, then you can send a Direct Message (DM) to him. 

Yes, it is a long process, but it helps the users protect their privacy and prevent spam messages sent to users without their permission.

Nothing helped. Same problems exist and have tried all suggestions. Now what? So disappointed, it seems like the phone has run it course and no longer is what it was.
