So many issues...

I got this phone a week ago and it was fine for two days, then the clock app disappeared. Afterwards, I rebooted the phone and it would not turn on, just get stuck at the droid eye, then go back to the beginning. I did a factory reset through hboot, and it was fine for another 4 days. Then, when I was trying to remove apps from the menu>setttings>applications menu and it would reroute me to other applications and uninstall the wrong one. Now, market will not open and my google account is no longer on the phone. I can't add it back. When I do so through settings, the google account option is missing. When I go through setup app, the app force closes.
Did I just get a lemon, or are people having a hell of a ride like me?

I would like to thank the community for your input. Agalychnis, I am sorry your having so many issues with your phone. I see by your post that you have already tried a factory reset and it worked temporally but a factory reset should remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications. Once your phone is restored, try adding each application one at a time and see if any of the apps give you an issue. I would attempt the hard rest again.
If you continue to have issues, we will need to speak with you to determine the next best step towards trouble shooting your issue. PLease let us know if you have spoken to a representative and what resolution you received.
Here are the steps for the hard reset:
- From a home screen, select the applications tab (located in the lower left).
- Select Settings.
- Select SD & phone storage.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Select Reset phone.
- Select Erase Everything.
- Perform initial activation and setup.

Thanks for the reply, but apps should not cause core functions to fail, and also nothing happened right after I downloaded an app. Also, the TBolt and the Dinc2 are two different devices and have very different issues.

Software can reconfigure devices functionality so installing a app can cause a device to malfunction or react differently so in reality a app can change the core function as you describe it.
Droid X had a rebooting issue everytime it was plugged in and after testing it was learned to be a app call bump that was used to fransfer data by bumping two devices together and this proves that software can do a number of unique situation with a device if it isnt supported by device or OS...
Dont throw out a possible nature of problem or you never find a solution....
