Some droid X2 problems

I just wanted to get some help with a few problems I am experiencing with my X2.

I just wanted to start by saying that I really like the X2 but I am getting frustrated with the few problems i've run across. My Main issue that I will get duplicate text messages, up to 8 of the same message over an hour. It happens with multiple contacts and random times. I've also experienced that a few times I will recieve very late text messages or not receieved at all. I havent had many not recieved message but I get tons and tons of duplicate messages.

My 2nd issue had to do with random reboots. I looked up these problems online and there was an issue with the SD card. I went out and got a new class10 card and so far its reduced the amount of reboots to almost nothing. I am unsure if it is the card or not because it has rebooted a few times after replacing the card.

My main concern is the duplicate texts. I have had friends tell me its Verizons network... but I am skeptical. I had a blackbery before this about a month ago and I never recieved a single duplicate text. Now that being said, I hated my blackbery so I am very happy with this new phone even with its kinks.

Is there anything I can do? I've read on some forum that people with the same issues had to get replacements two, three and even four times. So I dont know, any suggestions?

Ajtv, Thanks for sharing your concerns with your device. I can certainly understand your frustration with this issue. For an issue with duplicate text messages, we normally try to reset your text messaging in our system in case it is a network issue. If it is still occurring, a factory reset is suggested. I'm getting some duplicate text messages, no one has told me they are getting duplicates from me. I also get some double notifications in the Motorola Social Messaging widget. It seems to be random and not enough to be really irritating. I understand that Motorola is about to begin a soak test on an update for the Droid X2. If it's Gingerbread, lets hope the update address the various small issues I've seen on my phone. For the record, my DX2 has been pretty good, way better than my last Droid X.
