I'm a brand new Droid X user and downloaded a ringtone. When I went to the text message list to retrieve it, somehow I accidently deleted it; at least it's not in the list of text messages. Did it get saved somewhere in the phone or did I just waste $2.99?
If the ringtone was sent via mms and you deleted it without saving, I have to assume it's gone.
It's less expensive to create your own ringtones. You can download almost any song from amazon or walmart for .99, and edit the crop the song using ringdroid from the market for free.
If you bought file from Verizon site you should be able to log into Verizon site and I believe there is a option to see you purchased media but I am unsure where on page.
