I forgot how to do it

 

How do I search for songs and save them to my Music appl on my Droixd X?

You can place all ringers in SD Card / Media / Audio / ringtonesand then the will show under stock ringer selection menu..

 

Now if you have a ringer already but not sure where they are stored, plug in device as mass storage and then search the card for file name and move them to location listed above..

I am looking to Search for songs that can be used for Ringtones....

Is there an appl to do that ??? Ex Music?

I do know where mine are stored.

If the songs are still in your computer, download them to your Droid. Connect you droid to your computer with the USB cord. Wait a few seconds and you will see a new icon in the Notification Bar that looks like a USB connector. Pull down the Bar and tap on the icon and select "Mass Storage." Open up your computer and you will see a new "drive" letter, this is your Droid. Just pull down the songs you want and drop them into your Droid. You don't have to worry about which file, the Droid knows. Next, disconnect the Droid from the computer. Open the Apps Drawer and scroll to "File." Scroll all the way down to the bottom, and you should see your songs. Tap on the song. Tap on Menu and you will see the choice of "Use as Ringtone."
