I have problems with the sound not working on my phone once in a while. I've had the phone for about 4 months and have had to reset factory settings at least 4 times due to the sound not working for ringtones, notifications, and MP3s. I have tried changing music apps but it still does it.
Bumping this because I'm having the exact issues. I've had by phone about 4 months and have yet to do a factory reset. However, a few weeks, the sound on my phone started working randomly. Only these areas seem to be affected:
- Ring sound (it sometimes does not ring at all)
- MP3 (Pandora sometimes just don't work or stops working mid-session)
- Google Maps app voice navigation (sometimes doesn't work).
Obviously, I have made sure the sound was on, media volume was up, etc. I've checked my ringtones and all but ti seems to be the "media" sound since it's affected Pandora and Google Maps.
My phone says no updates.
Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!!!!
The only thing I can think of - after having a case for months, I recently took it over because it was ugly and covered up my nice phone. I couldn't find a case I liked. Could something have hurt my speakers? But if so, why would it work some of the time still? Sometimes it all works fine, but other times it cuts out. Please help! Thanks!
