Speed dial questions

Can someone tell me:

  1. How to speed dial when the address is greater than 9?  I have tried holding the second number, but it does not work
  2. How to change the name of the address once entered

I am guessing that your questions have NOT been answered so here goes.

On a Samsung Charge from the home screen press Contacts then press the Menu Key (lower left corner) then press More and then press Speed Dial and you can enter many more than 9 different speed dials.  You'll see the numbered list.

To remove or reassign speed dials start from the home screen press Contacts, press the Menu Key (lower left corner) and then press More and then choose Speed Dial.  Now press the Menu Key again (lower left corner) and choose one of two options:  Remove or Change Order.  It looks like you may have to remove and re-enter a new speed dial in order to change the name of the address once entered..

If you set a speed button to dial a contact number on device it should call whatever number that is stored for that contact...

Now if you want to place pause or wait commands here is image shots of Droid X but the command seems to be universal for android so if you use the symbol in screen shot the should work for you still..

Hi mrs99,

I see that JerryF has already addressed your questions (Thanks JerryF). Answers to your questions can also be found on page 50 of your Droid Charge User Manual. I trust this link will also assist you with other questions you may have in the future.
