I received my Droid X a few weeks ago and (for the most part) I love it. It out performs my old iphone in so many ways. The issue I've been having is that on three separate occasions, the device would not respond/wake from it's sleep state. After pressing the home and power/lock buttons SEVERAL times the screen remained dark. Only after ten to fifteen minutes would it cycle back up, showing the droid eye as it came back on. I must note here, that the battery was with good charge, the device was NOT powered down (by me), no application was running, and I have NEVER dropped or damaged the X.
Should I be worried, guys? I love the phone, but I've never had the issue where the phone was unresponsive at seemingly random times. Made me feel helpless and the phone is new for f#@& sakes. When it came back online, all was well. No sluggishness or issues further, but I don't know if this is a software issue (that an update, overnight powerdown charge, or hard reset would resolve) or hardware. Any advice on what I should do? Are any of you having this issue?
Have to you tried doing a battery pull on the phone? Remove the battery from the phone for about 1 minute place the battery back in the phone power it on... Hope this helps!
