Strange things are happening

I've had 2.2 for, what?, two days now and everything was going smooth. The only thing I noticed is that the camcorder still will not take close-ups using the volume buttons like it was supposed to with 2.2. But today, several things that never went into landscape mode went into landscape mode, but not in the usual way, but in reverse. By that, I mean that usually you would go into landscape mode by moving the top of the phone down to the left. However, this landscape mode appeared as though I moved the top of the phone to the right. Also, when I pull the phone out of its holster, and touch the volume buttons, I go into the car dock apps. Looked all over the system to see if the volume control buttons had other functions beside volume control and putting the camera (only the camera) into a close-up. Couldn't find anything. Neither of these happenings are terrible, just annoying.

2.2 update allows for 270 degree rotation. the phone is able to go into landscape mode by turning the phone left or right now.

I know you may not want to hear this and I usually dont suggest this but after dealing with the update on my device I learned the best solution is to hard reset device and do not use the "Back up my Data' option under Setting/Privacy because it restores bug in settings when it restores device.

I almost feel like it is too sensitive now when it comes to going into landscape mode. I find it flipping more often than I want actually. What do you mean about the camera going into close up mode with the volume buttons? Do your volume buttons not control zoom or is it supposed to change to macro or something when you zoom all the way in? I have noticed a couple quirky issues. It seems to freeze up more often like when going into the google search widget. Not every time just once in a while. And I am not 100% sure about this but I was sending a text yesterday and I got a call that I "ignored" because i was typing. The phone vibrated for an instant, and I have no idea how I actually ignored it. But I would prefer that my text message be interupted rather than the phone call ignored. My wireless seems more stable which is good, the batterly life finally made it at least 24 hours before requiring a charge and I have been messing with it intentionally trying to kill the battery. I have noticed a couple other weird things going on but havent gone enough in depth to really give a usefull description.

In camera mode, you can zoom in and out using the volume up and volume down buttons. You can't do that in the camcorder mode. They said that once froyo came out, you can zoom in and out the same way. As far as I can tell, you still can't.
