Switching from Blackberry to Incredible?

Hi I want to switch from my Blackberry Curve 8330 to a HTC Incredible but I have a few concerns.

1.  I love my Blackberry's Push E-mail I'm guessing HTC does push with Gmail but what about an IMAP email address like name@mydomain.com?

2. Will it sync Outlook 2007 (contacts, calanders, tasks, notes?) without being on exchange server...at least via USB or using google apps as a go between, although does google apps support notes and tasks?

Thanks

I have my HTC Incredible activated and my contacts downloaded via Verizon's Backup Assistant.  My email access via my Qwest email is also working A-OK.  However, how in the heck to you sync to Outlook?  No software came with the phone and the HTC sync programs I have found on the Internet do not seem to work.  By BlackBerry Curve 8330 may get re-activated.  By the way, the phone works perfectly in my 2010 Nissan Xterra for dialing and answering calls via the pushbuttons on the steering wheel.  I had heard that Droid phones did not work with Bluetooth for dialing.

There's an inexpensive program called gsyncit that automatically keeps your Outlook contacts and calendar synced to your Google account online. So, Outlook syncs to Google online, Google online syncs to your phone...and your phone is synced to Outlook.

Yes it does synchronize with an email account so you should not have a problem with this. And you can set up your Google settings to automatically synchronize between it and outlook and vice versa. The steps for this are on page 77-81 of the user manual for your phone. Hope this helps.

Hi Zachary,

What do you suggest to sync Outlook Tasks and Outlook Notes with the Incredible? I would like to retain categories, priorities, due dates, etc.

I do not have an Exchange server.

Thanks!
