I currently have the Droid 2 and it is driving me crazy, constantly shutting off for no reason, freezing, and i am just not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I have an unlocked iphone and was wondering if I could just take my SIM card out of my Droid 2 and put it in the Iphone? I'm not sure what all needs to be done, but I would sell my droid 2, so what all do I need to do as far as getting the phone out of my name so that someone else can use it without being linked to my account? Also, is it just that simple for me to switch SIM cards into a new phone, I know its that easy for other carriers but this is my first time being with verizon so I'm not sure how it works.
Thank you.

If you are going to sell any verizon android phone, I would recommend backing up any personal information elsewhere. Then complete a factory reset of the phone. You should also format the sd card so that it is clean as well.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

The droid 2 global has a sim card, but it is only for use outside the United States.

In any case, if you are talking about the Verizon iPhone, that doesn't have a SIM card. Depending how you used your Droid 2, you may have Verizon's Backup Assistant working, which stores your contact info on their site, and you can run that on the Verizon iPhone to get your contacts on to that phone. (Some iPhone users have reported issues doing this, but it seems to work for most). Your Droid probably also backed up contacts to Google, I don't know the procedure for taking that to the iPhone, but I'm sure that there is a way.
