Swype on Droid2 Needs Update

Please, please, please, please update the Swype version that is installed on the Droid 2. I had an original Droid (amazing phone) that was running the Swype beta, which was on version 2.4.x at the time. It was incredible - fast, accurate and reliable. Unfortunately, my phone broke and it was replaced by the warranty service with a Droid2. I saw that the phone cam pre-loaded with Swype, and assumed it would be the latest version. Much to my dismay, I noticed from the very first day that Swype was wildly innacurate and unreliable and on inspecting the version number it is at 1.64. I have to modify approximately 25%-30% of all entered words, whereas on my original Droid with the Swype beta I would rarely modify more than 10% of words (i.e. Swype put in the wrong word). It is so bad, that I keep jumping back and forth between Swype and the stock Android keyboard, but neither is satisfying and I often just want my original Droid back so bad.

Please update Swype to the current beta version. It is not possible to install the Swype beta on this phone or else I would.

Well, thats good news as far as I'm concerned. There are several things that annoy me about Swype so hopefully if we ever do get an update I will like it better.

One of my biggest pet peaves is that if I miss the 'I' key by even a fraction it always comes out 'Of'... it drives me nuts. I mean, it should be pretty clear that if I don't slide way over to the 'F' that I didn't mean 'Of'

But what really annoys me is when words get in there by mistake and it hides real words. I delete them, but they just seem to come back. I wish there was a better way to manage the custom words.
