I use outlook 2003 and want to sync contacts, calendar, tasks and notes. What is the best program to make this happen?

Actually, this is somewhat more of a multi-step set up ...  Here's how I did it, and others may have their own methods & apps.

- Calendar :  this gets sync'd (to/fr Outlook & to your Phone) via GOOGLE Calendar.  You need to go online into Google and set this up. Follow these instructions:   http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955

- Contacts: again, Google CONTACTS will manage this for you once establish the Google Account. You can also login to your online Google & manage those in CONTACTS ... but be forewarned, GROUPS don't get transferred.

- Tasks & Notes :  You'll likely need a 3rd party APP to do this, such as TASKOS  which has task sync'ing abilities.

Good luck.  Hope this helps. I'm sure others will chime in with their preferred methods, but this should be a start.

I have the same need.  The best thing I have found so far is CompanionLink.  I'm still using the trial version but haven't found any real problems with it yet.

You install it on your PC and a free Android App called DejaOffice on your phone.  It syncs outlook's contacts with the phone's contact list but the calendar is synced with DajaOffice's Calendar.  It is a lot easier than the convoluted process of going through Google, but not as simple as using Microsoft's ActiveSync or Sync Center with a Windows Mobile Phone.

It would be nice if someone would develop an Android App that worked with ActiveSync and/or Sync Center.  But until then I guess I can live with CompanionLink.
