I'm having trouble with my Droid 3. My phone has been going crazy for over a week now and I cannot figure out what is going on. Lately a message has been popping up saying
System UIDs Inconsistent
UIDs on this system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable.
then a button that reads:
I'm Feeling Lucky
I've tried pressing the I'm feeling Lucky button to no avail. I've tried uninstalling apps and clearing cache data, but every time I restart my phone they re-install themselves. I've uninstalled apps using both Google Play AND going into Settings>Managing Applications and they're still on my phone every time it restarts. I've tried resetting my phone by pressing the Power and the x button, the screen comes up and I've wiped the data partition, I've cleared data, AND rebooted...doesn't work. I've went through the Settings menu and tried to factory reset, still doesn't work. I've even manually cleared the internal and SD card memory, and nothing will delete. But my phone constantly restarts, I keep getting that error message, all my applications force close, and every time I try and open my voicemail or any Google related account, it says I'm not signed in. I've tried everything I can think of, I even took it into my local Verizon store and they couldn't figure out what was going on either. Can anybody help me with this issue??? It's driving me crazy!

Hello violinist1031, Let's get your phone back to normal! I would suggest starting the device in Safe Mode to try to get past the errors and then it may allow you to complete a factory reset. Here is a link to start the Droid 3 in Safe Mode: http://bit.ly/JQwHom
Please keep me updated on the status as I would be happy to provide additional support.
