Taking pictures on Droid Charge

When I take the picture it saves it sideways.  How do I set up the camera so it keeps the picture lengthwise?

No, I don't think you can. The image viewer that allows you to see the image in the camera app just after taking it seems to be a separate function from the Gallery viewer (they may be the same, but the software just doesn't allow you to view it in Gallery from the camera).

Dear mwalczak,

When you review the picture, just after you take it, you cannot autorotate the image.  However, the image is saved to your Gallery, and when viewed there, it autorotates.  So you really don't have to save the picture in a particular orientation.

I see what you are saying.  I also see that you can get from the gallery back to camera without having to exit home and then tap the camera icon.  Can you do the same while using camera? I don't seem to see that option.

Thanks,

M
