my droid will not send or receive any texts at all... when i try to send a text it comes up with the little red triangle and says message failed. ive tried the *228 option 2 thing already and it didnt help at all... i really need my texting to work its the only way i can contact my husband while he is working out of town. Thank you for any help!!
Try doing a Soft Reset. Then do the *228 option 2.
Soft Reset:
Press the Power key.
Touch Power off.
Touch OK.
Press the Power key to power on the device. If still not able to send or receive any texts at all do a factory reset on device.
Factory Reset option 1
From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch Privacy
Touch Factory Data reset
Touch Reset Phone
Warning: This will erase all data from your phone, including:
It will not erase: Current System software and bundled applications; SD Card files, such as music or Photos
