Ever since I did the last update, I can no longer speak to text when I am texting someone. When I hit the mic, I get Google speak to text for searching.
Can someone tell me how I can correct this?

Did you have an active data connection? Voice to text might require a data connection to translate the spoken words to letters.
Yes I did. It still doesn't work. It only works if I do it from the screen and I first have to change it to numerical. I prefer using the keyboard. That is the reason why I selected this model.
