Text message issues

I have been having issues receiving texts with pictures, as well as group texts.  Basically I see that I have a message, but when I go into the Text App, I don't see the new messages.  This is very annoying and I am missing some very important messages.

Please help.

Thank you for messaging in, jennGry. Here to help out with these text messaging issues. Do you recall when you first experienced these issues? Were there any updates either to the OS or apps? Let's try this: Please go to Settings>App Manager>All>Messages>Clear Cache and Data, and then Force Close the app. Once done, please hold down both the Power and Volume Down keys, simultaneously, until the phone shuts down.

Once your phone restarts, open the app, and let us know if this helped out.
