Texting Issues

I am not sure if this is the right forum - I apologize if not.

 

I have a Droid Incredible.   I have never had any problems with texting.  (I have tried turning the phone off and on/rebooting but that hasn't worked).

 

I am able to receive messages - but as of this morning - I cannot send any messages.  I get the following error messages:

 

"Message Failed, would you like to retry?"

 

"SMS Error, Network Problems"

 

"Details:  Cause Code 1, Error Class 3"

 

Has anyone had this issue and/or know how to resolve it?

I am having the same issue but I can't to my other lines on my service.  i can text to other verizon customers  though.

Hi! I had this problem a while back and Verizon wasn't able to resolve the issue. HOWEVER, restoring the phone back to the factory reset fixed the error. Hope that helps... I know it's a pain!

Before you do a factory reset, have you reprogrammed the phone to Verizon's network?

Dial *228, option 1 and follow the prompts.
