The pictures taken with the Droid2 are just awful. I even downloaded Vignette which tries to make things better but it still sucks.
I used my Omnia to take a lot of pictures and they all came out pretty good. I may have to return it if only because of the extremely poor camera.
Both pics were taken from the same spot, with the same lighting, the only difference may be the zoom, I couldn't get them equal.
Admittedly the camera on the Droid 2 is not the greatest, but your Droid sample is shaky and overexposed. That lighting does not require a flash.
I didn't use a flash on either pic. Everything was the same on both pics, the exception being the zoom since there was no way to get it exactly the same on each device.
I agree that the camera is not really adequate. Daytime photos without the flash are blurry. Nighttime photos are grainy and overexposed at best. I would expect something a bit better from a 5mp camera.
I adjusted the Vignette software to use velvia and it looks a lot better.
wow that does suck lol...looks like a 1.3 megapixel camrea..but im sure theres a reason for the poor quality..did u remember to take the plastic from over the camrea? I saw pix with the droid 2 and they dont look nearly as bad as the ones you took. U probly just got a defective product. Hope things work out for u....[GET THE DROID X]
