So I have to Motorola Droid.
Last night I put it on my bed side table and went to bed, that's all I did. When I woke up this morning I took my phone off of the table and I saw that it had turned off, meaning I thought it was dead. I hooked it up to the charger and waited a couple minutes while I went on the computer. I looked over and saw the green message light blinking so I pressed the unlock button but the screen remained blank. I tried the touch screen and when I touched my finger to the screen I could feel that the touch screen was working. So all together the touch screen works but the screen is just blank! What is wrong? I'm hoping it's just temporary this is the 7 Droid I've broken, it's not very sturdy.

Turn off the phone and remove the battery for awhile. Put it back in and turn on the phone.

Broken 7??? Perhaps it's not the phone, at least not all the time. I and the people I work with who have Droids have had 0 failures.
Just in case, try pulling the battery. Otherwise, it's time for #8. Perhaps you should consider a ruggedized phone, like those for construction workers, etc.

High humidity CAN cause shorts in the lcd inverter, which can cause the screen to go black.
