Hi have charter email on my outlook windows 2007. When I got the phone a few days ago the set up my charter account on my droid x. However now when I go into my outlook 2007 and send/receive to retrieve my emails i get this message:

"Receiving reported error (0x8004210E). It says that my mailbox is temporarily unavailable because another message is being sent to it or another mail application is accessing it. So I can't receive any emails it however if I try and send an email out from my pc it works. So there must be some setting in the phone that is causing this to happen because it worked right until I got my DROIDx if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it this is driving me crazy!

Did you set up your Charter email as IMAP or POP?

If you set it up as IMAP, your phone is holding the account up. If you delete the charter account on your phone, then your Outlook will be able to receive just fine.

If you set it up as POP, then increase the time between checking for new emails.

What is happening is that Charter is seeing that your phone is accessing your email, and when Outlook is trying to access it, Charter does not allow it. This does not affect sending emails, just receiving them. It sucks, but that is the way they handle things.
