I have had a Droid 2 for two days. I was on the web looking up recipes earlier today. I went to look up something else and I have this screen that says "Wait a minute! This is important. It is doing a scan and says my computer is infected. It has continued to scan for over an hour and I don't know how to stop it, and what is happening?

I would back out of the web. For peace of mind, download Lookout (either the free version or the ad free version) it will scan your phone for any virus. And yes, sorry to say, cell phones can and have picked up a virus and other nasties. There are several anti-virus programs for cell phones, such as Norton, but most of them are pricey. Lookout, which I use, is excellant. It has other jobs besides scanning for bugs.
