Touch Screen

I have a voyager, but I want to get the Droid X, however I can't use the screen with my nails.  I am not ready to cut my nails for a phone.  Does anyone know wether or not Verizon will come out with a touch screen that I can use my nails.  I know you can with the Droid 2, but I want the Droid X or the Fascinate, they have much bigger screens.

I saw a woman using the sides of her fingers to deal with her long fingernails.  I adapted her technique to deal with my  Fat fingers. 

Not a big deal for me though because I use Voice to Text for Email, Texts and Notes.  With the Noise canceling microphones I can use the Verbal input in fairly noisy environments. Of course your milage may vary.:-)

You can use the keyboard's SWYPE functionality.  You just trace the words with your flat fingertip.  It's really easy and really kind of cool.

I use the sides of my fingers all the time and I don't even have really long nails. I find I have a little bit more control with how I use the touch screen this way. I also seem to switch fingers and/or hand I use throughout the day.
