I am trying to transfer songs via bluetooth from an old phone.......I'm able to "pair" with the other phone phone but not able to complete the transfer of songs. It says "unable to handle data". Any suggestions?
It's possible that the old phone's bluetooth profile doesn't support one of these: File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Object Push Profile (OPP) or Generic Object Exchange Profile (GOEP). Please post what the manufacturer and model is of your old phone so we can try to see if it's doable.
It's a LG slider w/touch screen.....not sure the model number or name. Bluetooth version Q506.01.17
Need a little more info than that. You can find the model number if you remove the battery. The model number should be printed on a label/barcode (on the phone, not on the back of the battery). LG models usually have begin with "VX" followed by a four digit number, e.g. VX8650
