I am having trouble with my e-mail either showing up on my Droid X and not my Laptop or visa/versa? They are the same e-mail acct. with Frontier.com. There does not seem to be any consistent pattern? Any suggestions?

Could you give any more details? When you check your email on your laptop, are you using a browser or a dedicated email program? How did you set your email account in the phone?
One situation that can happen is that when you get an email, it sits on the server waiting for you to access it. Once you do it gets downloaded and taken off the mail server. If you are using two programs this way (in this case your phone's email app and your laptop's email software) then which ever accesses and downloads the email first will be the one with it in the inbox and the other won't be able to retrieve it since it's no longer on the server. In this case you would need to find an option somewhere in both programs to "leave a copy on the server" when retrieving mail.
If you usually check your email through your web browser on your laptop and your phone is set to sync with that inbox, then you have some other problem. You should send some questions to Frontier.com and see if you can get some help from them.
What email s/w are you using on your Laptop?

not sure what email you're using but maybe, when the phone email widget is opened, it's downloaded to the phone and you can't get it on the laptop.
i know if i send an email from my pc to gmail, it comes in on the phone and is not accessible on the pc gmail.
