The Camera quit working on my Droid X, its nexer been dropped and is also in a defender series otter box; also there are lines across my screen that seem to fade in and out throughout the day. A VZW tech told me to remove the battery for a little while but that didn't help. What should I do?

I would take it into a Verizon store and SHOW the problem to them. if they can't fix it in-store, you should get a replacement (CPO).

What happens when you try to pull up the camera? Does it come up at all? Is it flashing? Have you tried using both the side button to pull it up, as well as the camera application? Have you downloaded any third-party camera applications? If you have downloaded any third-party camera applications, please uninstall them and try the camera again. You can uninstall by following these steps:
Settings
Manage Applications
Choose the application
Press Uninstall
Press OK
With regard to your screen and the lines fading in and out, is this happening in the same area on the screen or is it happening in different areas on the screen? Is it an intermittent issue or does it happen all of the time?
